The 2011 Catapult Class Association AGM will be
held at 6.00pm at Bala Catamaran Club on Sunday 24th July to coincide
with our Bala Gala and The provisional
agenda is attached below
If members wish to put forward resolutions
to be voted upon, or topics for discussion, they should reach our
Secretary, John Peperell, by Friday 30 July, please. They can be
submitted by e-mail, provided a written version signed by the
proposer and seconder is presented at the meeting. John's contact

Nominations for officerships and positions on the
committee should be proposed and seconded and approved by the person
nominated. These can be accepted up to and including the day of the
meeting, though prior notification would be helpful.

Proposed constitutional amendment,
recommended by the Committee
To amend paragraph 3(a) Membership to
read:
The following membership shall be
recognised:
i) Full Member. Open to any Catapult
owner upon payment of the prescribed subscription. In the case of
joint ownership, membership may be granted to any nominated one of
them. In the case of corporation or association owned Catapults,
membership may be granted to a nominated representative of that
organisation.
ii) Associate member. Open, upon
payment of the prescribed subscription, to any person having an
interest in the Catapult Class who is proposed by a full member.
iii) Honorary Life Member. Open to
any person who is proposed by a full member and elected by the
Committee.
In the case of Full and Associate
members acceptance of a person into membership will be subject to
approval by the Association Committee. The Committee may choose from
time to time to delegate its powers to the Membership Secretary to
accept members. The Association or its officers shall not
discriminate on grounds of race, religion, gender or sexual
orientation. The Membership Secretary will not have the power to
refuse an applicant, but may refer applications to the Committee
whose decision will be final.
